Tools for Traders Ultimate Edition
Version 1
The S&D Software Tools for Traders Ultimate Edition is designed for traders who employ the supply and demand trading methodology. It contains the Chart Tool indicator, which automates the identification, drawing and labeling of areas of Supply and Demand. It also contains tools that mark the Prior trend (macro trend), Segments or Current Trend (micro trend), Impulse and Correction moves, Swing Highs/Lows, Candle in Control (CIC), as well as the ability to control how these tools function and what they display (or not) on the chart. New features added to the Ultimate Edition: A. The Explain Function: This feature allows the user to see why the Chart Tool displays (or not) a specific band. The feature also allows all the settings in use to be dumped to a file so you have a history of the settings used for an asset and interval. B. The S&D Software Tools for Traders Ultimate Edition is designed for traders who
employ the supply and demand trading methodology. It contains the Chart Tool
indicator, which automates the identification, drawing and labeling of areas of Supply
and Demand. It also contains tools that mark the Prior trend (macro trend), Segments or
Current Trend (micro trend), Impulse and Correction moves, Swing Highs/Lows, Candle
in Control (CIC), as well as the ability to control how these tools function and what they
display (or not) on the chart.

New features added to the Ultimate Edition:

A. The Explain Function: This feature allows the user to see why the Chart
Tool displays (or not) a specific band. The feature also allows all the
settings in use to be dumped to a file so you have a history of the settings
used for an asset and interval.

B. The Session Tool: This feature allows the user to declare a particular
span of time as a “Session”. This allows the user to define a group of trend
lines that mark the session High, Low, and Midpoint. This tool
provides a simple way to implement marking of different strategies, such as
the Opening Range Breakout (ORB), and Night Owl without the user
having to do the calculations for the particular strategy.

C. The Snapback Indicator: This indicator is classified as a volatility indicator
and will run in a chart window. It analyzes price action and produces a
series of color-coded bars that indicate how far price is from the mean and
the likelihood of a change in price action that will reduce the distance
between price and the mean.

D. The Trade Finder: The S&D Software Trade Finder is an indicator designed for the
TradeStation® RadarScreen and Scanner. It uses the same Band Finding Engine as the
Chart Tool and will therefore find the same supply and demand bands as the Chart
Tool. This allows the user to display, in a chart window, any bands used by the
Trade Finder as the basis of a potential trade. This allows the user to adjust
parameters within the Trade Finder to “Look” for opportunities that meet the user’s
criteria, and it can trigger an alert if it finds any. The user can then make a
determination whether or not any of the opportunities found meet the requirements
of their trade plan.

E. The Pattern Finder: The S&D Software Pattern Finder Indicator is designed for the
TradeStation® RadarScreen and Scanner. It uses algorithms to identify patterns that
form bands (RBR, RBD, DBD, and DBR), or combinations of these patterns specified by
the user, such as (RBRRBDDBDDBD). These are specific rules based, objective patterns
identified in the history of a particular market. It will locate the last occurrence
of the pattern in the data available to the tool. The Pattern Finder DOES NOT
determine the state of the pattern (broken or unbroken). It uses the same Band
Finding Engine as the Chart Tool and will therefore find the same supply and demand
patterns as the Chart Tool when the settings are aligned. These patterns can be
displayed in a chart window, giving the user the ability to evaluate opportunities.
The user can adjust parameters within the Pattern Finder to “Look” for setups that
meet the user’s criteria, and it can trigger alerts if it finds any matching patterns.

F. Back Testing Features: The Back Testing features are a suite of tools inside the
Ultimate Edition. These tools are versatile with multiple ways to benefit from them.
For example, a Band Test can be run on a 15 min data set spanning a 30 day period
in just a few minutes. The Band Test then turns out a summary of the performance
of the Bands which formed during the test period. Output data includes all the bands
created during the test, the success of those bands, points lost and won, and a total
of the max points that could be won during the test. This provides the user the ability
to quickly determine if the settings being used meet their goals. It also includes the
complete list of settings used to get those results, so the settings can be duplicated
to run further tests on a different data set range.

Another Back Testing feature is the Band Event Log. It has the ability to output the
band and candle information for the test range. This data contains every candle that
touched a band during the test. It then outputs 34 individual pieces of historical
information about that band and the candle that touched that band, including, but not
limited to, the first opposing band and the first fresh opposing band. This data can be
analyzed to fine tune the users trading plan.

There are additional back testing features which allow you to run multiple band tests
at the same time, control multiple band tests from a single chart window, save preferred
settings for markets and intervals and automatically have the Chart Tool (and other
tools) use those settings when those markets and/or intervals are requested, and more!

Charts are marked in moments using objective, repeatable rules and eliminating any
subjectivity of the user. It reduces the time to mark charts so the user can focus on
trading. The Tools for Traders Standard Edition can be used on any asset class and
works on different interval types.
