Joshs US Bonds Swing Strategy
Version 13
This is a short term swing trading system for the US 30 Year Treasury Bond Futures contract that I trade with real money. This strategy uses a stop loss of $2300 from the entry price on long trades and $1500 from the entry price on short trades. I trade one US 30 year Treasury Bond contract per $10,000 in my account. This strategy generates approximately 40.5 trades per year, and holds trades for around 3 days on average. Only one trade is open at a time. This strategy is based on weekly, seasonal and mean reversion techniques that I’ve found to work well and consistently on the US 30 Year Treasury Bond Futures. It trades several patterns in both the long and short direction. Data - The system requires at least 200 days of @US daily data. Money Management Rules – For best results, the default profit target and stop should be kept constant. However, the user can change these if there testing reveals different results. Money Management Rules – For best results, the default profit target and stop should be kept constant. However, the user can change these if there testing reveals different results. Please spend significant time determining how many contracts you should trade on your account based on your risk tolerance and account size.

Inputs – There are three inputs available to the user, two are stop losses, one for the long side and one for the short side, and the third is a setting that allows you to change the number of contract you trade per trade.

Appreciated the opportunity to try this strategy. The backtest performance appears to be quite solid and stable over time.

I am currently subscribed to 3 of Josh’s 3 trading systems the SP500, Gold and Bonds, I highly recommend that you take Josh up on his free 30 day trial offer so you can see the systems for yourself. If you are looking for systems that are in and out of the market every day then this is not for you. If you are looking for a very easy to understand set of systems that take a few trades per month with an excellent 13 year track record with consistent monthly income then you must try out what Josh has to offer. Josh always responds to my emails very quickly and he was gracious enough to spend time with me on the phone a few times so he could clarify a few points for me. He is extremely knowledgeable, very patient and he will help you and guide you at your own pace with any and all questions that you have. I have bought and tested many systems and I must honestly say that what Josh developed far surpasses anything I have ever seen in terms of a consistent track record and percentage of winning trades. I would highly recommend studying the results of his systems combined so you can see for yourself how very often if one system is having a losing month (which definitely happens) the losses will be mitigated by a wining month in one of the other systems to help balance out the equity curve.
